Calender

The Empire uses a lunar calender split into 13 months. The months are 28 days long, split into 4 7 day weeks. The last day of the year belongs to no month and is considered a day of omens. Most peasant folk do not leave their homes on Year’s End.

Months:
First Thaw
Spring’s Height
Plow’s Moon

Fire Dawn
Midsummer
Field’s Moon

Leaf Turn
Autumn’s Breeze
Harvest Moon

Cold Snap
Riverstop
Hunter’s Moon

Longnight

Each month is split into 4 weeks which correspond with the phases of the moon. Typically the only people that get that specific with dates are historians. Most people simply number the days of the month 1-28.
